Sin is the most fundamental problem in human life, as it destroys the relationship with God and has destructive spiritual and social consequences. In 21st-century Christianity, the urgency of sin resolution is increasingly neglected due to moral relativism and a theological crisis. This study aims to explore the meaning and urgency of sin resolution based on Leviticus 5:5 using a canonical exegetical method. The study employs historical, syntactical, contextual, and theological approaches to reveal the relevance of the text in light of Christ’s redemptive work. The findings show that the confession of sin and the act of restitution through offerings are key elements in reconciling humans with God. The sacrificial system in Leviticus serves as a typology of Christ's atonement, which offers the final solution to human sin. In conclusion, sin resolution is not merely a legal demand but an urgent necessity for the church today to foster a holy, repentant, and reconciled Christian life.
